Originally starting in a small township in Pune, they now serve customers throughout Pune. Their vision and passion arose from the lack of a nearby flour mill, leading them to offer a range of freshly milled, highly nutritious grains. Tell us about your background and how you got started in the aata business?
In 2016, my journey as a businesswoman began amidst the challenges of supporting my family while dealing with my husband and son's health issues. Constantly seeking out food products free from harmful additives, preservatives, and chemicals, I faced a dilemma when I couldn't make it to the mill to get grains milled during a rainy day, leading me to purchase packaged flour that didn't meet my family's standards. This experience shed light on the lack of quality options available, especially for busy working women like myself. Realizing the absence of flour mills in my township, I took it upon myself to fill that gap and decided to start one.
What inspired you to start a business?
I started my business with the goal of not only meeting our financial needs but also to actively support my husband in achieving our shared ambitions. It's a journey we're embarking on together, and my business is a way for me to contribute to our household's success and future.
What is the story behind the funding of your startup?
I had the incredible opportunity to showcase my business on Shark Tank India Season 2 in 2023. After a nail-biting pitch, I successfully secured a deal and received funding from the renowned business tycoon, Mr. Anupam Mittal. It was a game-changing moment that propelled my business to new heights.
