Phoenix Pallavi | Life Coach | Tarot Reader | Trauma Healer | Interview With TheTalkStreet
Pallavi Chakravarty is the founder of Phoenix Pallavi. She supports high-performing professionals and individuals who appear strong and successful outwardly but feel lost, exhausted, or stressed internally.
Her clients often face challenges such as overthinking, work pressure, toxic relationships, low self-worth, emotional pain, and unresolved childhood experiences. Through life coaching, inner child healing, cord cutting, chakra balancing, and tarot, she helps them understand the root of their struggles and begin a meaningful healing journey. Her work goes beyond providing answers—it focuses on helping people reconnect with themselves.

What inspired your transition from the banking sector into this field?
I started my career in banking, where everything looked stable on the outside. But inside, I was constantly stressed, emotionally drained, and disconnected from myself. One day, I realized I was just functioning—not truly living. I was meeting expectations, not following what felt right. That awakening pushed me to dive inward. I began unpacking my patterns, emotional triggers, relationships, and stress responses. This inner work transformed how I think, react, and decide. Over time, I noticed so many people around me struggling with the same silent battles. That's how this work began—not as a career pivot, but as a natural outgrowth of my own healing journey.
How do you help high-performing professionals who feel emotionally drained and struggle with boundaries and burnout?
I work with high-performing professionals who are used to managing everything but often feel emotionally drained and struggle to set boundaries without guilt. Most of my clients appear successful and dependable on the outside, yet internally they deal with overthinking, relationship stress, work pressure, and a constant sense of responsibility. They find it difficult to say no and tend to overgive at work and in relationships, which gradually leads to burnout and resentment. Through a combination of life coaching, healing practices, and tarot, I help them gain clarity, understand what is affecting them, and move forward with greater stability and confidence.
How do you integrate life coaching, healing practices, and tarot within your sessions?
Each method serves a distinct purpose in my sessions. Tarot helps bring quick clarity to a person’s emotional and mental state, often highlighting what they may find difficult to express.
Healing work supports the process of releasing and working through past and present experiences, including childhood patterns, relationship challenges, work stress, betrayal, or loss.
Life coaching then focuses on moving forward by helping clients make decisions, set boundaries, improve communication, and take practical steps. Together, the process is not just about awareness but also about understanding, healing, and taking action.
Many people still have misconceptions about tarot. How do you explain it to someone who feels unsure about it?
Tarot can be understood as a mirror of the subconscious. It does not control a person’s life; instead, it reflects their current thoughts, emotions, patterns, and the direction they may be moving in.
It serves as a tool for self-understanding, helping people recognise what they are feeling, what they may be avoiding, the patterns they are repeating, and what may need healing. Often, clients arrive with one specific question, but that question is usually connected to a deeper emotional concern. A breakup, for example, may bring up feelings of abandonment, while a career challenge may be rooted in self-doubt.
Tarot offers clarity and perspective, but it does not replace personal responsibility. Individuals still make their own decisions and must take action based on the insight they receive to create meaningful change in their lives.
What types of sessions do you primarily offer?
I offer tarot readings, life coaching, inner child healing, cord cutting, chakra healing, emotional healing sessions, and longer-term transformation journeys.
People approach me for different reasons—some seek clarity in their careers or relationships, while others come feeling emotionally exhausted. Many want support in healing after a breakup, building confidence, working through childhood experiences, or moving forward in life.
Based on individual needs, I use a combination of life coaching, healing practices, and tarot to ensure the process goes beyond discussing challenges and focuses on creating meaningful and lasting change.
What kind of individuals typically reach out to you, and what challenges are they usually facing when they come to you?
Most of my clients are high-performing professionals and individuals who are used to handling everything on their own. They are responsible, dependable, and consistently show up for others, even when things feel difficult. However, internally they may be dealing with burnout, overthinking, difficulty setting boundaries, emotional stress, or major life situations such as breakups, workplace challenges, family pressure, or personal setbacks. They are not looking for motivation—they are seeking clarity and a healthier, more effective way to navigate their lives.
What do you believe is the biggest challenge people face today, particularly high performers?
Many people are carrying a heavy emotional and mental load without taking the time to process it. They move from one situation to the next without fully understanding the impact those experiences have had on them.
Many struggle to say no without guilt and continue taking on more work, responsibility, and emotional pressure than they can realistically manage. Over time, this often shows up as overthinking, frustration, difficulty making decisions, emotional reactivity, or repeating the same patterns in relationships and at work.
The challenge is not a lack of capability—most are highly capable. The real issue is unprocessed experiences and the constant weight of ongoing mental and emotional demands.
Could you share an example of a situation where your work led to a clear and meaningful transformation for a client?
A client approached me feeling stuck in a relationship and unable to make a clear decision. Initially, it appeared to be only a relationship concern, but as we worked deeper, it became clear that the situation was also rooted in a fear of being alone, past experiences, and a pattern of over-adjusting to meet others’ needs. They also found it difficult to set boundaries and often prioritised others over themselves.
Through a combination of clarity, healing, and structured guidance, they began to view the situation from a new perspective, establish healthier boundaries, and make a confident decision. The real shift was not only in the relationship, but in how they started showing up for themselves.
Many people still misunderstand tarot, life coaching, and healing. What do you wish more people understood about your work?
These practices are often misunderstood as quick fixes or magical solutions, but they are not. Tarot does not take away free will, healing is not about staying stuck in the past, and life coaching is not just about motivation. Together, they help people understand themselves, work through emotional wounds, and create lasting change.
Seeking help is not a sign of weakness; it takes strength to face yourself and choose growth. It is not about blaming others or remaining stuck in the past, but about gaining self-awareness, letting go of what is hurting you, and becoming emotionally stronger. People often feel they must suffer silently and simply move on, but it is possible to move forward while also healing.
In your approach, why is it necessary to explore both childhood and current life experiences?
Looking at both is essential. Childhood experiences often shape our self-image and emotional responses, while adult experiences—such as relationships, career pressure, setbacks, and life transitions—continue to influence how we think and behave.
When these experiences remain unprocessed, they tend to build up over time. The purpose is not to revisit the past unnecessarily, but to understand what is still affecting the present and work through it in a practical and meaningful way.
What kind of results do clients usually experience after working with you?
Clients often gain greater clarity in their thinking, emotional stability, improved decision-making, and healthier relationships. Most importantly, they learn to set boundaries without guilt. The goal is not to remove every problem, but to help people handle life in a clearer and more grounded way.
What is the key message you want people to take away from your work?
I want people to know they do not have to handle everything on their own, and that clarity can change everything. When you understand what is happening within you, your decisions improve, your relationships become healthier, and your overall life experience changes. I also emphasise that struggling to say no is not a fixed personality trait—it is a learned pattern that can be unlearned. That is where meaningful change truly begins.
