Kritikka Avasthi An accomplished actress who had already established herself in the digital media industry, bravely embarked on a new journey in 2020 by venturing into the realm of social media. Her portfolio boasts a series of hit video projects and web series, showcasing her versatility and talent.

  Share with us your upbringing and how being an entrepreneur has influenced your family dynamics ?

As an actor at heart, I find that influencing naturally complements my craft. Originally from Delhi, I completed my schooling and college education there before becoming a part of the esteemed Delhi Danceworx for 3 years, where I honed my skills as a company member and instructor in various dance forms. Following my education, I made the move to Mumbai in 2015.

  What inspired you to pursue a career as an actor ? 

Sometimes, our career paths are not chosen by us but rather by fate. This was the case for me when I saw my cousin Jyotsna in a TV commercial, despite her being a fashion designer. Intrigued, I reached out to her for details about her experience in front of the camera. The following week, I found myself at an audition, and the rest is now history. It seems the universe led me here, as I had never planned for this journey.

  What drives your constant positivity and motivation ?

Striving for a constant state of joy and positivity is my ultimate goal. Being down or upset is simply not enjoyable, so I am dedicated to quickly elevating my mood and mindset to a higher level. 

  How do you maintain your motivation and push forward in the face of obstacles? What motivates you to keep pushing forward ? 

I believe in never giving up and encourage others to always fight back! No matter how many times you may fall, always rise again! Success is inevitable, whether it's on your 101st attempt or your 110th, so never lose hope! Embracing challenges and overcoming difficult experiences only serves to make us stronger and wiser than we were before.

  Is there a transformative experience that has impacted your life that you would like to share with your devoted fans?

Taking a bold step forward, I embraced the unknown and trusted my intuition by relocating to Mumbai.

  If you weren’t an actress, what would you have liked to be?

May be a Chef !

  Is there a role you have not played but would like to play someday?

Yes! That would be a warrior princess, a period film.

  Which role presented the greatest challenge for you to embody?

Yet to come.

Trust your intuition, listen to your inner voice. Regular meditation enhances your senses, sharpens your instincts, and heightens self-awareness, which is essential for actors and individuals striving for personal growth. And, of course, dedicate yourself to honing your skills.

  If you were beginning your journey in the industry today, what strategies would you implement differently ?

Hahaha that I would only know if I was living this! .

  What does a typical day in your week look like?

During my downtime, I focus on completing pending tasks, practicing meditation, engaging in healing activities, doing yoga/exercises, socializing with friends, dining out, and enjoying movies.

On shooting days, I begin with a brief prayer and meditation session, followed by a 12-hour stint on set before heading back home.

  What is the best collaboration that you have done with a brand ?

All have been great so far. Best yet to happen.

  How do you perceive the impact of micro-influencers in contrast to celebrity influencers ?

I believe everyone should have the opportunity to bring their dreams to life and stand out. Micro influencers are often experts in their niche and build strong connections with their followers.
