Vyom Bajpai is the owner of Damak Diamonds, an emerging jewellery store with both online and offline presence. At Damak, we specialize in offering customized, unique jewellery pieces. My goal is to bring fresh ideas and enduring values to the diamond business, setting us apart in a competitive market.
What was your educational background, and how did it prepare you for a career in diamond manufacturing?
I graduated with a B.Com from Jagran College in Kanpur and then moved to Surat for further studies, enrolling in the Master Program in Gems and Jewellery at ISGJ, and a Diamond Grading Course at GIA. This education broadened my expertise in diamonds and jewellery design. I began my career at a jewellery manufacturing unit, learning the process of jewellery making and the artistry of the karigars, and even crafted a few pieces myself. I gained experience in the diamond market before launching my own brand, ‘Damak Diamonds’, in Kanpur and New Delhi.

Some gemstones are precisely cut to align with the brand's exact standards, guaranteeing consistency in colour, shape, and size. Every diamond is handpicked by the directors and comes with GIA or IGI certification, passing through strict quality control and meticulous inspection to ensure exceptional quality.
