Amul has achieved the top spot as the strongest food brand globally

Amul has once again proven itself as a global powerhouse in the food industry, securing the prestigious title of the world's strongest food brand in the highly esteemed Food & Drink 2024 report. This remarkable achievement is a testament to Amul's unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in delivering top-quality products to consumers worldwide.

According to a statement from GCMMF, Brand Finance, the world’s leading brand consultancy, has released its annual report on the most valuable and strongest food, dairy, and non-alcoholic drink brands.

The report reveals that Amul’s brand value has increased by 11 percent to $3.3 billion. Amul achieved a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 91.0 out of 100 and an AAA+ rating, reflecting its robust performance in familiarity, consideration, and recommendation metrics.

The report confirms that Amul remains the leading dairy brand, boasting an improved Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 91 out of 100.

The brand’s unique approach, characterized by its cooperative structure and impactful marketing strategies, has cemented its status as a familiar name in Indian households. Amul holds an 85 percent share of the butter market and 66 percent of the cheese market in India, reflecting the effectiveness of its branding, according to the statement.
